OEM
The manufacturer's own part in their box. Correct by definition, highest price, and sometimes the only option for a discontinued or dealer-restricted item.
OE
The same component from the company that manufactures it for the brand, in their own packaging. Frequently identical hardware at a materially lower price.
An independent manufacturer's equivalent, where a verified cross-reference exists to the original part number. On body panels and trim this is often the sensible choice. On safety-critical and electronic components it frequently is not.
