ASE42320001000 — VAS 6350 Calibration Unit

The VAS 6350 is the genuine calibration unit required to recalibrate the rear view camera system after any repair to that system on VAG vehicles. It includes magnetic wheel-centre mountings and a shock-resistant line laser, and extends to Area View and Side Assist calibration. Etron Parts & Tools supplies it from the USA.

When you are required to use it

Any repair touching the rear view camera system requires recalibration afterward. That includes windscreen and camera bracket work, suspension geometry changes, and bumper or panel repairs that move a sensor.

Skipping the calibration leaves a driver assistance system reporting positions it can no longer see accurately.

What is in the scope of supply

Magnetic wheel-centre mountings for alignment reference, and a line laser mounted in a shock-absorbing optic housing — the housing exists because these units get knocked and dropped in a working bay.

Extending to Area View and Side Assist
