VW 508.00/509.00 "blue" oil for specific engines of Volkswagen Group

Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is a long-life oil based on PAO ("poly-alpha-olefin") which is applicable for gasoline and diesel engines, also suitable for LPG and CNG engines, from Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and Seat where the VW 508.00/509.00 specification is required.

Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 allows the engine to perform optimally under severe conditions (highway and city traffic) due to the specially formulated additive package. Additionally, a fuel saving of at least 4% (compared to an SAE 15W-40 reference oil) and emission reduction can be achieved by using Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20. Oil consumption is minimized due to the low evaporation properties of this uniquely formulated oil.

Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 will be formally approved for the VW 508.00/509.00 specification, as well as for the factory fill specification VW TL 52577. Only the two VW specifications apply to this 0W-20 formulation, although Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 may become applicable for the Porsche C20 specification. Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 cannot be used in applications where the previous VW specifications are required.

Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is recommended for the new EA888 Gen III 2.0 TFSI 140 KW, VW 1.5 TSI 96 KW/110KW and EA897 Gen I 3.0 TDI CR 160 KW Volkswagen/Audi engines. It is expected that 15 to 20 engines will be introduced soon, which will cover 50% of VW production, including the Audi, Skoda, and Seat brands.
